Imbolc 2016

Penwith Moot Imbolc Ritual
Sunday 31st Jan, 2.00pm at Sancreed Village Hall.

In the beautiful Penwith village of Sancreed with its ancient sacred well, we will gather to celebrate a simple and personal rite of contemplation, purification and celebration to mark the coming of Spring and the transformative mystery of the Goddess.
We will include the traditional walk to Sancreed well for a blessing, and the path is nearly always very muddy, so please bring wellie boots plus something else to wear in the hall.
Please wear something white or pale green, even if it just a token gesture such as a scarf, and please bring some food and drink to share as usual, plus £2 each towards costs.
Sancreed village hall is easy to find – coming from Penzance on the A30, at Drift take the right hand turn signposted Sancreed. The village hall is on the corner just past the church and there is plenty of parking on the road outside. The ritual is suitable for anyone disabled if they omit the walk to the well.
Everyone welcome.
